  • Celery Seed (Apium Graveolens)

    Celery seeds have been used for their potential health benefits for centuries, preliminary studies suggest that compounds in celery seeds, such as apigenin and luteolin, have anti-inflammatory properties and may help reduce pain and swelling in joints. Additionally, celery seeds contain antioxidants, which help protect cells from damage caused by free radicals. The celery seed extract has been shown to reduce inflammation in the joints, improve joint mobility, and reduce symptoms of osteoarthritis.

  • Birch Bark (Betula spp)

    Birch bark, derived from the birch tree (Betula spp.), has been used for medicinal purposes for centuries. In traditional medicine, birch bark was used to treat a variety of ailments, including skin conditions, digestive problems, and respiratory conditions.

    Birch bark contains a number of active compounds, including methyl salicylate, which is similar in structure to salicylic acid, the active ingredient in aspirin. Methyl salicylate has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties, and has been used topically to relieve pain and reduce swelling.

    Birch bark also contains flavonoids and phenolic acids, which have antioxidant properties and may help protect against cellular damage. Some studies suggest that birch bark may also have antibacterial and antifungal properties.

  • Moringa (Moringa oleifera)

    Moringa has been used for its medicinal properties for centuries. Moringa leaves, seeds, roots, and bark are all used for their potential health benefits.

    Moringa is a rich source of vitamins and minerals, including vitamins A, C, and E, calcium, potassium, and iron. It is also high in antioxidants, which help protect cells from damage caused by free radicals.

    Studies suggest that Moringa may have anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effects, and may be helpful in treating a variety of health conditions, including arthritis, diabetes, and high blood pressure.   • Nettle Leaf (Urtica Diocia)

    Nettle leaf, also known as stinging nettle (Urtica dioica), is a plant that has been used for medicinal purposes for centuries. Nettle leaf is high in vitamins and minerals, including vitamins A, C, and K, calcium, iron, and potassium.

    In traditional medicine, nettle leaf has been used to treat a variety of conditions, including allergies, arthritis, and skin irritations. It has also been used as a diuretic to help increase urine production and reduce fluid retention.

    Some studies suggest that nettle leaf has anti-inflammatory properties, and may be helpful in reducing pain and swelling in joints, particularly in those with osteoarthritis. Nettle leaf is also thought to have antioxidant properties and may help boost the immune system.

  • Frankincense (Boswellia serrata)

    Frankincense is a resin obtained from the Boswellia tree, most commonly Boswellia serrata, and has been used for medicinal and religious purposes for thousands of years.

    Frankincense contains a number of active compounds, including boswellic acids, which have anti-inflammatory properties and may be helpful in reducing pain and swelling in conditions such as osteoarthritis and inflammatory bowel disease. Some studies suggest that frankincense may also have anti-cancer properties, although more research is needed to fully understand these effects.

    Frankincense has also been used as a remedy for digestive problems, respiratory conditions, and skin conditions. In traditional medicine, frankincense has also been used as a natural remedy to boost the immune system and to improve mental and emotional well-being.

  • Passionflower (Passiflora incarnata)

    This multifaceted herb supports the central nervous system and studies have found a sedative effect and effective for generalized anxiety in animals. It has been found to support older animals who are experiencing evening agitation (sundownder syndrome). Interestingly, it has a calming effect as opposed to creating a “sleeping” effect, while also decreasing stress related to travel.

  • Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis)

    Studies show that lemon balm has a sedative effect and is said to increase calmness. It is known to mitigate agitation and is an antidepressive.

  • Wood Betony (Stachys officinalis)

    This fascinating herb has a long history as a panacea for healing and holding mystical properties.  It has not been used in western herbalism, but was known though out Europe  for a wide variety of ailments.  It is said to have a calming effect and nervine properties and assists with sleep disorders that stem from an overactive mind.

  • Oatstraw (Avena sativa)

    Considered a nervous system tonic, oatstraw is said to improve and regulate nerve transmission.

  • Skullcap Herb (Scutellaria lateriflora)

    It said to be particularly supportive of calming nervousness that is related / caused by being oversensitive to noise as well as nervousness that can come from mental and physical exhaustion. Veterinarian herbal literature notes that it decreases nervousness, especially following acute or chronic disease (pain or trauma). Interestingly, it is also identified as a moderator for epilepsy and has muscle relaxant properties.

  • Bearberry (Uva-Ursi)(Arctostaphylos uva-ursi)

    Increases urine flow and is said to have diuretic, antiseptic and astringent properties. Found in a study on cystitis to be particulary effective when combined with dandelion leaf and dandelion root

  • Boldo Leaf (Peumus boldus)

    A herb from South America, among its many healing properties include the treatment of bladder infections, increasing urine flow and killing bacteria.

  • Nettle Leaf (Urtica Diocia)

    Among the many properties of nettles in both traditional herbal medicine and recent studies, is the reduction of inflammation.

  • Parsley Leaf & Root (Petroselinum crispum)

    Has been used to treat kidney stones and increased urine output (diuretic)

  • Dandelion Leaf & Root (Taraxacum officinale)

    Acts as a diuretic
